上海影视广告开拓者——王国平

早在上世纪八十年代末和九十年代初，当海外广告片还未登陆中国荧屏，港台广告制作人尚未进军内地之时，王国平就以先锋的思想投身广告界，积极探索本土影视广告片的拍摄手法，成为大陆第一代和上海最早一批电影广告制作人，并为许多著名中国品牌和上海品牌的创立作出非凡贡献，迄今已拍摄了数百条电影广告片，在一系列全国广告比赛中屡获大奖。
上世纪九十年代初，拍摄的《上海精品商厦·清明上河图》曾是当时上海电视频道播放率最高的广告片，此片获上海优秀广告评比最佳制作奖。
曾为上海品牌知名度最高的申花企业（申花足球队最早赞助商）拍摄了所有产品电影广告片，其中《八运会火炬篇》荣获上海电影广告评比一等奖。
为罗蒙西服拍摄的电影广告片《历史篇》获全国电视广告大赛金奖。为汇丽建材拍摄的电影广告片开创了上海电影广告大制作的先河，并获上海广告评比最佳制作奖。
其他拍摄的著名品牌可谓数不胜数，声名显赫，如：上海霞飞、上海家化、海通证券、东方商厦、第一食品、隆力奇、东洋之花、利华葡萄酒、k牌啤酒、新闻午报、每周广播、东方电台、春花电器……
最新拍摄的《上海电信》和《同济大学》等广告片更是以新奇的创意和影像而夺人眼球。二十多年来王国平导演的影视广告片屡开风气之先，并影响了上海一代人。

A Pioneer of TV and Movie Commercials in Shanghai

As early as the late 1980s and early 1990s, when neither overseas television commercials nor Hong Kong and Taiwanese ad makers had entered onto the stage of Mainland China, Wangguopin already started to make TV and movie commercials with his pioneering ideas. He actively explored for a new set of methods of making such commercials particularly in the domestic setting. He therefore became the first generation of TV and movie commercial makers in China and one of the very first in Shanghai. He made extraordinary contributions to the establishment of many well-known brands both in Shanghai and China. So far he has produced hundreds of movie advertising films and has won major awards in a series of national advertising competitions.
A TV commercial he made in the early 1990s, “Shanghai Boutique Commercial Buildings: Riverside Scene of Pure Brightness,” was the most frequently aired commercial by the various channels of Shanghai TV, and won the Best Production Award in the Competition of Outstanding Advertising from Shanghai.
Wang being the maker of all the movie commercials for the most famous brand of Shanghai, the Shenhua Corperation (the earliest sponsor of the Shenhua Soccer Team of Shanghai), one of the advertising films he made for that enterprise, “Torch for the Eighth National Games,” won the first prize in the Shanghai Movie Commercial Competition.
An advertising film he made for Romon Suits, entitled “The History,” won a gold medal in a national TV commercial competition. Another ad for Huili Building Materials was the first major commercial production to be made in Shanghai and won the Best Production Award in the Shanghai Commercial Competion.
Numerous other well-known brands he has presented have all gained high reputation. These include SOFEA, Shanghai Jahwa, Haitong Securities, Orient Shopping Center, Shanghai First Provisions, Longliqi, Tayoi, Lihua Wine, K Beer, News Times, Radio Weekly, East Radio Shanghai and Chunhua Electric Appliance.
Wang’s latest promotional films for Shanghai Telecom and Tongji University are particularly arresting due to his ingenious ideas and images. For more than twenty years, promotional films he has directed have been setting the trends and have inspired a whole generation of fellow professionals in Shanghai.
