中国电视样式发明家——王国平

王国平自成为电视人后，除了发明中国MV外，还以超前的意识和开拓的精神，积极探索发明全新的电视语言和电视结构及电视样式，开创了许多中国电视史上的“第一”。
1986年，首创中国第一部MV《金色的旋律》。
1987年，首创电视辩论赛，连续举办两届上海市中学生电视辩论赛。
1988年，首创“卡西欧睦邻城市家庭演唱大赛”，分别在上海、无锡、南京、宁波、杭州市举办，是全国最早的跨地区电视选秀活动。
1988年，首创电视探索片《三色太阳》，引起争鸣，《新民晚报》连续两天专版讨论。
1989年，发明制作了中国大陆第一盒卡拉OK录像带(上影音像公司出版)。
1991年，制作了中国第一张散文诗镭射激光影碟(上海永乐影像公司出版)。
1992年，首创中国第一部电视哲学剧《现代人》，受邀参加捷克第36届金色布拉格电视节展映，倍受赞誉。
1992年，首创中国第一部环保风光片《青春梦旅》，收视率获第一名。
1995年，首创中国第一部MV剧《风情石库门》，参加瑞士第35届金玫瑰电视节专题研讨，引起轰动。
2007年，拍摄中国第一部8集新神话风光片《八仙南通寻根记》，在长三角上海、南京、苏州、湖州、杭州、宁波等城市电视台播放，反响强烈。

Creator of New Chinese TV Forms

With his keen insight and pioneering spirit, Wang actively explored and invented new television languages, structures and styles, which has resulted in many “firsts” in Chinese television history.
In 1986, he produced China’s first ever MV work, "Golden Melody."
In 1987, he initiated China’s first ever television moot by organizing two telecast events on Shanghai TV for secondary school students.
In 1988, he organized the "Casio Good Neighborly Cities Family Singing Contests” in Shanghai, Wuxi, Nanjing, Ningbo and Hangzhou, which was China’s first cross-regional television event.
In 1988, he produced China’s first explorative TV program, “Sun with Three Colors,” causing an upsurge of public interest.
In 1989, he produced China’s first karaoke tape, which was released by the Shanghai Audio-Visual Production Company.
In 1991, he produced China’s first laser disc, which featured prose poetry and was released by the Shanghai Yongle Video Production Company.
In 1992, he produced China’s first philosophical TV drama, “Modern Man.” The program was shown in the Thirty-Sixth Golden Prague Television Festival in the Czech Republic and received a warming welcome.
In 1992, Wang produced China’s first environmental scenic film, “Youthful Dreams.”
In 1995, he produced China’s first MV drama, “The Love of Shikumen,” which became a topic of discussion at the 35th Golden Rose Television Festival in Switzerland where it caused a sensation.
In 2007, he shot China’s first neo-mythological scenic program, an eight-episode drama called “The Eight Immortals’ Search for Ancestral Roots in Nantong.”
